Background to Research Project

The Spotlight tool was developed through a project funded by the Pay and Employment Equity Unit, New Zealand Department of Labour, Te Tari Mahi, 2009.

Spotlight was developed by a research team led by Anne Junor for the New Zealand Department of Labour.  We gratefully acknowledge the work of the project team, the advisors and reference group and the individuals who were interviewed. 

The Spotlight project team were Anne Junor and Ian Hampson (The University of New South Wales), Gemma Piercy (The University of Waikato), Peter Ewer (Labour Market Alternatives), Alison Barnes and Meg Smith (The University of Western Sydney) and Kaye Robyn Ogle (Deakin University). 

Conceptual advice was provided by Philippa Hall (Director, Pay and Employment Equity Unit) and Janice Burns (Top Drawer Consultants).
